Hi, Darren.
Or, rather given the worldwide craze due to some cowboy-themed game release - should I say "Howdy"?:)

Actually my first thought when I read headline was "Yay, finally!". Yes, Chocolate Malt is one of my favourite flavours from ON (and, therefore, from any other brand, as I think ON's flavourists (or what's the name for specialists who mix flavours?) are among the best in the world of sport nutrition), and honestly, it may be more favourable than Mocha Cappuccino for me. Yeah, maybe a bit heretical thing to say, but what can I do - I like it a lot. Although I do drink it with water most of the time.

As I haven't even seen Whoopers, I cannot confirm or deny your reference, but to be honest, before I bought Chocolate Malt flavour Protein I didn't even knew what this thing actually is and that such thing even exists (yet again, I am no expert in beverages:)). I know what malt is, but that's all. Chocolate Malt Whey marketed here as "chocolate", everybody seems to be ignoring "Malt" part probably because original beverage is not widely known. While I still haven't seen any "ordinary" beverage under this name, I am more than glad I got ON with this flavour. Not sure if I recommended you to try it in comments, but I surely voted for it.

I'd say it is less sweet & pronounced "chocolatey" if compared to Extreme Milk Chocolate, yet it is a bit more... cacao-like? Not sure you have those in States, but here Nesquik drink is quite popular. If flavours of Nesquiks are the same at both banks of Grand Pond, then I'd say it is the only similarity I can get, only again - less sweet, even if you dilute Nesquik with water, not milk. For me it tastes just right.

tl;dr, This is one of my favourite flavours at all and I gladly recommend to try it to anyone who can handle cacao family flavours. Sadly it's quite rare here for some strange reason, so I have to look out for it.

As usual, keep out the good work and stay safe.
